Did you get your secret diary with the February issue of Total Girl? It’s totes amaze right?! But, while writing your secrets down in your diary, keeping it hidden from your mum or your cheeky little bro is always the biggest challenge! Never fear TGs, we have some suggestions here of the best ways to keep them guessing…

1. Hide it behind some old, dusty books in the bookcase. Find some books in your house that no one’s read for years! They’ll never think to look for your diary behind those.

2. Cover the diary with school book labels. Write a class, subject and your name on the labels so that your diary looks like a school book! You could even write school notes in the first few pages to disguise it. Totes sneaky!

3. Put decorative cushions on your bed and hide it in one of the cushion cases. Just zip open the cushion and pop in your diary. But make sure no one sits on it or they could get an uncomfortable surprise!

4. Fill a shoe box with random knick knacks and put your diary at the bottom. Shoe boxes are great for storing belongings you want to keep but don’t use a lot. Put your diary at the bottom of your things to keep it super secret!

5. Switch your hiding places from time to time. Stay one step ahead of the game and you’ll always keep your secrets hidden.
