Glow Worm Caves - Australia and New Zealand
As beautiful as the night sky, or even more gorgeous, these glow worm caves are a remarkable sight. The NSW path to the glow worm caves is quite hard to get to as it's a rock track. However, you'll get glimpses of Australian flora and fauna throughout the trip (so it's totally worth it!). Tamborine Mountain, Queensland, is an easier and safer way to view the glowing phenomenon as it is a guided tour! The reason why these glow worms glitter is due to a mixture of waste product, enzymes, and molecules and their reactions to the oxygen within their habitat.

The contrast is crazy! The reason why it’s pink is not 100% known but it is suspected that micro-algae may have something to do with the milkshake hues. Lake Hillier is not the only pink lake in the world, pictured is another pink lake found in Western Australia!
