Hi Lily! What do you admire most about Charlie?
L: Probably that she cares a lot about the kangaroos.
What was the funniest moment on set?
L: The funniest moment onset was probably when Ryan and I were just telling funny jokes to each other and pranking each other.
Kangaroo has such a great cast! Did you get starstruck when you first met any of them?
L: I actually didn’t know who any of them were because I was a gymnast before I did the film and so I didn’t really have time to watch a lot of movies because I was just training and training. But when I landed the role, the director Kate Woods, she gave me a whole list of movies to watch so I knew who I would be acting with.
Did any cast members give you advice? If so, what was the best piece of advice that you received?
L: To trust myself and just be kind to everyone
In the movie, Chris stays in Charlie’s grandparents guesthouse while he’s in town – if you could pick anyone to come to your town and stay in a nearby guest house, who would you choose?
L: Margot Robbie because she’s my idol and I would love to meet her and hopefully work with her one day.
