Princess Cake Recipe!


What you need:

  • 2 packets Coles Create & Bake vanilla bake mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 120g butter, melted
  • 280mL milk
  • 20cm square cake tin
  • 3 packets Coles Create & Bake strawberry flavoured icing mix
  • 180g butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup desiccated coconut
  • Green food colouring
  • 5 mini ice cream cones
  • Coles Create & Bake rainbow sprinkles
  • Coles Create & Bake hearts
  • 2 Coles Bakery Jam Mini Rolls, cut into thirds
  • 1 piece Coles Brand soft strawberry licorice
  • 1 1/2 pkts Coles Brand musk flavoured sticks
  • Coles Create & Bake princess icing figurines
  • Smart Buy marshmallows

What to do:

  1. Preheat oven to 180Β°C (160Β°C fan forced). Lightly grease and line a 20cm square cake tin.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the baking mix, eggs, butter and milk. Using an electric mixer, mix on low speed for 30 seconds or until combined. Increase speed to medium high and mix for a further two minutes.
  3. Pour mixture into prepared tin and bake for 45-50 minutes for cake or until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean. Allow to cool for five minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  4. To prepare the icing, combine the icing mix, butter and milk. Using an electric mixer, mix on low speed for 30 seconds until combined, increasing speed to high and mixing for a further one to two minutes until light and creamy.
