Prepping the trick
- Get a paper cup and stuff a sponge into it so that the sponge covers the base of the paper cup.
Do the magic trick
- After prepping the trick, in front of your audience pour a small amount of water into the cup.
- Now that your audience has clearly seen you pour water in to the cup, say the magic words, ‘abracadabra’ and carefully turn the cup upside down.
- The water should appear to have ‘disappeared’.
- Ta da!
