5. When the minions meet bank robbers on the way to Villain Con

The friendly family that picks the minions up turns out to be a family of bank robbers! They’re just as excited for Villain Con as the minions are and that’s where they end up meeting Scarlett Overkill, the greatest female super villain of all time!

4. Herb having fun with the minions

Scarlett Overkill’s husband Herb seems scary at first, but then we realise he’s actually super chill! He calls the minions funny names and when he leads them into the villainous torture room, they actually end up acting really silly and having fun together!

3. King Bob’s coronation speech

King Bob was obvs making some pretty funny jokes in his speech – if only the crowd could understand him! Ah well, we totes loved how everyone cheered when he shouted “King Bob”!

2. Kevin Turning Huge

When Kevin’s trying to stop Scarlett he has the most amazing luck, and by pressing all the “Do not push” buttons and levers, he manages to make himself turn into a giant! This totes helps him save his minion buddies!

1. Seeing mini Gru at the end

The Minions movie is a prequel to the Despicable Me movies, so it was so cool that at the end of Minions, the story included a kid version of Gru from Despicable Me! He seemed just as evil as ever!
