I caught the sequel to one of my all time fave movies The Incredibles last week. If you're thinking about seeing it I strongly recommend you do. Incredibles 2 is an action-packed super hero adventure that lives up to the epic-ness of the first film, which hit cinemas over 14 years ago!
Kicking off where we saw our heroes last – It's been a few months since the Parr fam defeated the former super-fan-turned-super-villain Syndrome. In a world where "Supers" remain illegal, we find the gang keeping a low profile – turning in their costumes for a normal life. Even Frozone is keeping it chill (LOL!). Struggling to keep afloat as regular people, a saving grace presents itself in the form of brother-and-sister-partnership Winston and Evelyn Deavor. The pair want to make Supers legal again. If they can prove to the world it's better off with them than without, they just might have a chance of changing the minds of lawmakers. What better ambassador than Elastigirl!
Helen Parr's new job means Bob, aka Mr. Incredible, is tasked with looking after the kids. It's no easy feat, especially with Elastigirl taking up all the limelight. On top of it all Jack-Jack is going through some unpredictable changes. It's the family's biggest challenge yet.
Though there has been plenty of downtime between the two movies, little to no impact has been lost. The sequel is as heroic as the original and packs plenty of punch with the introduction of a new range of super characters, obstacles to overcome and a cheeky plot twist to make this one wild ride from start to finish.
Tl;Dr 10 out of 10 would watch again!
