Last week, just a few days before the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, TG’s Laura got the chance to chat to Grumpy Cat. She sure wasn’t as happy to see Laura as Laura was to see her, but she did make her LOL. A lot! Grumpy Cat even ended up winning the Aussie/Kiwi’s Favourite Animal category at the Nick awards!

Hi Grumpy Cat! How does it feel knowing so many Aussies and Kiwis think you’re awesome?

I'm extremely disappointed in them.

Do you know much about the Southern Hemisphere? Like, have you ever tasted Vegemite?

I don't know everything about the Southern Hemisphere, but if you're fans of something as bad as Vegemite, we must have similar interests.

Who are you most excited to see at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards this year?

It's a toss up between Iggy Azalea and the usher who can direct me to the nearest exit.

Who’s your favourite dude from 5SOS?

I don't like dudes. Not even for 1 second.

You’ve done some amazing things, like starring in a movie and writing two best-selling books. What’s the secret to your success?

I never forget my three word mantra: "Never start caring."

Have you ever been starstruck?

I've never been starstruck but I may have wanted to strike a star once or twice.

What’s your trick for maintaining such fabulous hair?

I stay out of the sunshine and away from people as much as possible.

Do you plan on getting slimed, or sliming someone else?

Don't tempt me. Once I start, I may not stop.

Is there anything else you’d like to add?

Never.
