Yummy, easy, CHOCOLATEY treat!
Triple Threat Easy Chocolate Mousse Dessert Recipe

What you need:

  • 2 x 500g rich chocolate cake bases, halved lengthways, un-iced and unfilled
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1 x 200g packet Aeroplane Sweet Treats Chocolate Mousse
  • 500ml full-cream cold milk
  • 150g milk chocolate, grated (i.e. flakes, crushed)

What to do:
  1. Place a slice of the chocolate cake base into a large rectangular serving dish (20cm x 30cm).
  2. Mix cocoa with 1/2 cup hot water and pour over both of the chocolate cake bases.
  3. Beat Aeroplane Sweet Treats Chocolate Mousse mix with milk until thick and creamy, and then pour over the prepared cake base.
  4. Place the second slice of now iced chocolate cake onto the mousse layer, icing facing up and sprinkle on the chocolate.
  5. Place in fridge for 30 minutes or until set. Serve within one to two days of making.

The milk doesn't have to be cold, it's easier to mix when it's warm and it doesn't change the taste.
