Hands up if you like sweet stuff?! Thought so!!! We DEFINITELY do and we were stoked when we got to go to a special preview of the Cake Bake & Sweets Show.
OMTG it was HEAVEN and literally everyone there was a super genius who is like an international rock star of baking and treats.
When we arrived, we saw this. Um, yeah, can we please move in?!
First up, we checked in with three sugar-sculpting ladies who can make ah-maze stuff like these super gorgeous cakes. They use fondant which is like a sugar paste you can work with almost like plasticine.
They had little tubs full of ... wait for it ... mini breakfast foods made of sugar!!! Squee it was sooooo adorbs. See, tiny ham, eggs, bagels, toast and more! Soooo realistic and amazing.
These ladies helped us decorate a cupcake each. Here's Alex's choice: pancakes and a croissant.
Claire chose a mini full English breakfast. There are even burn marks on the fake tomatoes and the eggs shine thanks to a special glaze.
Next, we met the ladies who make sweets at famous hotel The Shangri-la. They had made super delish cheesecake push pops and let us spin fairyfloss as the finishing touch. Totes fun!
What a cool adventure - we were allowed to eat literally all the treats we could handle. OMTG we just might have gone OTT.
