DIY Fizzy Bath Bombs

DIY Fizzy Bath Bombs

Make your own fizzy bath bombs with this easy recipe!

What You Need

  • Baking sodaWhat you need to make bath bombs!
  • Cornstarch
  • Citric acid
  • Food colouring
  • Essential oil
  • Sifter
  • Measuring cups
  • Moulds

What to do

  1. Sift three-quarters of a cup of baking soda, one cup of citric acid and two cups of cornstarch into a bowl to remove any chunky bits.
  2. Add five drops of food colouring and six drops of essential oil. Mix well until the mixture is all one colour.
  3. Add one teaspoon of water slowly, so the mixture does not fizz. Repeat until the mixture sticks together in your hand when you squeeze it. The key is to get the mixture moist enough to form into the moulds, but not wet enough to start fizzing.
  4. Pour and firmly pack the mixture into the moulds. Allow the mixture to set overnight and then pop them out super carefully!
