These are our top four tips to keep your favourite pet pooch happy and healthy:

1. Take your dog for a daily walk! Tie up those sneaker laces, grab Mum or Dad and hit the pavement. Make sure you play games at home with your furry pal as well, so that they stay mentally stimulated!
   
2. Don’t share your snacks with your puppy! Human food is bad for animals and will result in an upset tummy. Chocolate is especially bad for our furry BFFs so make sure it’s kept well out of their reach. Always make sure they are getting the right food for their breed (ask the vet), and most importantly that they have fresh water to drink.
   
3. Make sure your pooch has a nice comfy area to relax in. You love your bedroom, so it makes sense that your dog needs a comfy shelter too. Ask Mum or Dad for old blankets or cushions and your puppy will soon have a palace!
   
4. Keep your fabulous furry friend well-groomed. Gently brush their hair, ask Mum or Dad to take them to the groomers, give them regular doggy bathes and they will be looking their best in no time.
   
5. The best tip? Lots of love! Pat your pooch and spend time with them.
