Step 3:
Cut out the traced triangles. You will have what looks like a diamond shape once opened. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 for the other fabrics.
Step 2:
Fold the fabric in half, inside out, and line up the bottom of the triangle on the crease. Trace the triangle.
Step 1:
To create the pattern for the bunting, draw a line 16cm long down the centre of card paper. Measure 8cm from either side of the line and mark two dots. Match up the dots to draw the shape of a triangle. Cut it out.
What you need:
- 3 x fabric in different summer prints
- Ruler
- Card paper
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Bias binding or string
- Glue
Step 4:
Place the bias binding in the centre of the diamond and glue one side to close the fabric and create a triangle. Continue this step for each triangle, alternating fabrics.
