Hi Total Girls!

LA. Cody Simpson. Alli Simpson. Wow this month has been awesome! I was lucky enough to fly over to the USA and interview Cody and Alli in their family home at Manhattan Beach, California. Cody and Alli don’t usually have interviews at their house so I felt incredibly grateful. These guys were cool, funny and really lovely. It’s such a small world, I actually went to the same school as Cody and Alli on the Gold Coast in Queensland. In fact, my triplet sisters were in Cody’s class. From school boy to international pop sensation, Cody is seriously living the dream.

We chilled on the couch and chatted about Cody’s journey into the music industry. He was only twelve when he was discovered and soon after his family packed up and joined him in the USA to pursue his music career. Alli also recently released her very first single! It’s so awesome to see a brother-sister combo following their dreams.

I wonder if they will ever collaborate? With that in mind, I decided to play a game with Alli and Cody called How Well Do You Know Each Other? We used Aussie Lamingtons to keep score. The highlight of the game was when we busted out with Cody’s favourite hip-shaking dance moves! Cody and Alli are so inspirational. I can’t wait to see what they achieve next. Cody will be heading back to Australia soon to tour alongside Justin Bieber so I’ll be keeping an eye out.
