Hi Bria! You play ‘Young Emily’ a.k.a young Octavia Spencer which is so cool! What was your reaction when you got the part?

My mum always records my sister and I when we book roles, so she asked to take a picture of me and started recording while she told me I got the role. I was so excited, I screamed!

A lot of young girls dream of acting and being in movies. What's your number one piece of acting advice for them?

If you’re going to act, do it because you love acting, not because you want the money or you want the fame. Do it because it’s something you enjoy.

What was your fave memory on set?

My favourite moment was when I met Ms. Melissa McCarthy, because I didn’t realise I was going to meet her; I just thought it was someone named Melissa. It was my first day on set and I was meeting a lot of new people and someone came up to me and asked if I wanted to meet Melissa, but my brain didn’t process that it was 'Melissa McCarthy'. So I was like OK, and then I walked into the makeup trailer and she was just there and I freaked out!

What was it like working alongside her?

Ms. Melissa was great because she was so positive the whole time and it made me feel really good about the whole experience.

What would be your dream role when you grow up?

My dream role would be a lead in a TV drama or movie. Also, I can see myself being a superhero in a superhero movie.

Lastly, can you tell us one silly, cool or random fact about yourself?

One random fact is, I haven't been to Australia, yet! 😏
