I am loving life as an intern in the TG office, there is never a dull moment and the girls in the office are heaps cool!
I hope you enjoy my first book review of Cathryn Constable's The Wolf Princess. Let me know what you think!
An adventure as amazing and unbelievable as the ones that exist only in stories? For Sophie Smith an adventure like this could never happen, not in the strict boring old classrooms of The New Bloomsbury College for Young Ladies.
With no family and only two friends - Marianne and Delphine, Sophie was not special ... or so she thought. When Sophie gets the chance of a lifetime to travel to Russia on a school excursion, she has no idea her lifelong dream of a fantastical adventure is about to begin.
Without any explanation or reason, Sophie and her two besties find themselves aboard a train headed for the Volkonsky Winter Palace, and waiting for them? A princess!
This story filled me up with warmth. The sweet, caring nature of Sophie made her impossible not to love and the fashion obsessed Delphine and super smart Marianne reminded me of my own besties too!
But don't be fooled, this book is not what it seems, the princess is in trouble and she will stop at nothing to get what she wants! Even if it means Sophie and her friends are to face the white wolves!
The Wolf Princess is full of unexpected twists and turns. I recommend it for girls aged 8 and older as there are a few big words to wrap your head around. I loved everything about The Wolf Princess, especially the fancy silver title and purple-edged pages!
I give it ... drum roll please ... five stars!
I loved this book TGs - but what about you? What's your fave book?
Love & happy holidays
Ellie
P.S. So lovely to meet you all!
