It all started when my family moved to NYC when I was 4.
What's it like working alongside Debby Ryan?
It's been really great having her knowledge of a multi-camera series like Jessie because I had never shot a TV show like that before.

Who do you feel closest to out of the cast of Jessie?
I hang out with Karan, Cameron, and Skai all the time off of set. We go to six flags together or see a movie and we have school together. I am at Karan's house all the time though because his sister Sabrina and I are BFF's!
You've worked on big film productions and now you work on Jessie, what's the biggest difference in the two and which do you prefer?
The biggest difference is probably the speed of shooting an episode in just two days where as a movie takes a couple of months to shoot! Another thing I had to get used to was the laughter. I had to learn to wait for people to laugh then say my line.

Is it easier playing a character similar to you?
I would say it's easy for me to play a character that is like myself but also really harder because if I'm playing a character that's not like me at all I just pretend I'm a completely different person with a different background which can be easier for me.
Do you prefer playing someone similar to you or someone completely different?
Hmmm that's hard. Completely different is sometimes more fun because I get to do things that I would never do in real life.
Who do you admire, and why?
I really admire Katherine Heigl. I played her younger version in the film 27 Dresses and she could not have been more sweet!
What's been the most exciting thing you've gotten to do since you've started working on Jessie?
My friend Jackson's TV show Homeland was nominated for a SAG award, and he invited me to go to the party with him. I met Bradley Cooper there and he told me I looked beautiful. I was so starstruck!
Your brother is also an actor, does it ever get competitive with the two of you?
When we were younger we were so competitive but now we root each other on more. We definitely get competitive over sports though! Haha
Do you have any life mottos?
I read this on a juice box in elementary school:
"Be yourself because everyone else is already taken" -Oscar Wilde
Where do you see your career in five years?
I see myself doing more movies.
What advice do you have for young girls who want to get into acting?
If you really want to be an actor/actress I want to remind you of how much hard work and dedication it takes. I would start out getting as much practice as possible. Start with school plays, community theatre, and local productions. That is the best way to get started.
