OMTG! 5SOS have announced that Ashton Irwin has been hospitalised with appendicitis and had to have an operation!

According to the band, Ashton is “doing great and will be back up and running in no time, but he’ll need to rest up for the next week or so.” Aww, we hope Ashton gets plenty of rest and feels better soon!

Apparently the band will have to cancel the rest of their tour to England and Japan, which must be totes disappointing for them. But the boys had a message for all the fans, "we love you. Can’t wait for us four lads get back on the road (minus one band appendix) and rock out with you all again soon!” We can't wait either!
