Disney’s next princess to join the ranks is called Moana (pronounced Mo-ah-na), and she’s from the tropical islands of Hawaii! She’ll star in a movie also called Moana, to be released in late 2016.

The story is gonna take place 2000 years ago, across islands in the South Pacific, where Moana will sail across the ocean to complete a quest for her ancestors!

Disney also just announced that Auli’I Cravahlo, a native Hawaiian girl, is totes going to do the voice of Moana!
