Hello lovely little ladies,
It was a crazy busy time last week at TGHQ – for me especially! On Wednesday afternoon, I got to attend the ARIAs red carpet. The ARIAs are basically the biggest night in Australian music – heaps of awesome musicians are nominated for awards, the winners make nice speeches, and some people even perform up on stage.

Before the awards show, there’s the red carpet. That’s when all the celebs and artists show off their outfits and catch up with fans. It’s the perfect time to try and grab a selfie with them!

I was lucky enough to have a microphone in my hand, and an amazing camera operator, Ci, with me and we did our best to capture as much cool footage as we could. We chatted to cool peeps like 5SOS, Forever Ends Here, Taylor Henderson, Nathaniel, Marlisa – so many, in fact, I can’t even remember them all. Phew!

When 5SOS came down the red carpet it was totes crazy. Everyone was screaming and chanting and calling out to the boys to try and get their photo. I felt super lucky to get this snap with Ashton, coz he’s my fave!

Mel, our magical beauty writer, was on the red carpet too ­– but she was on the other side to me. Check out this cool snap she got of all the boys (and her photobombing in the corner – LOL!)

When Katy Perry arrived, everyone got so excited ­– it felt like the whole ground was shaking. Here’s me with some of my new friends… including Katy!

Do you like Charli XCX? She’s a British singer, and she sings FANCY with our very own Iggy Azalea! Iggy wasn’t there, which was a shame, but Charli was. She was so friendly and had awesome sunglasses.

It felt like we waited for ages, but One Direction finally arrived and it was complete mayhem. They all came down the sides of the barricades to get selfies with the fans, and I thought that was pretty nice of them! Zayn was being funny and jumping around everywhere, Harry said ‘Hi’ to me (which basically made my day/life) and the girl standing next to me planted a kiss on Liam’s cheek! OMTG!

Last, but definitely not least, I got to have an awesome chat with Timomatic. He’s so nice and funny and positive about life – it’s pretty infectious. Plus, he was wearing an awesome hat!
