It's time to release your inner hippy and get into 70's vibe. Let's create some psychedelic pieces! Peace out.

Bright colours make this a great fashion for summer!

WHAT YOU NEED:

- Plain white cotton singlet

- Dylon Tie Dye kit (Dylon customer service call 1800 025 021 or at selected spotlight stores)

- Plastic bag

- Scissors

(Rubber bands and plastic gloves come with Dylon Tie Dye kit)

GET CRAFTY!

STEP 1
Firstly, rinse the article to be dyed and leave damp. Lay out your damp singlet flat and pick up a spot in the middle with your fingers and pull up to form a cone shape.

STEP 2 While holding the pinched section of the singlet, tie rubber bands around the width of the cone shape at various intervals. Repeat this process on other areas of the singlet.

STEP 3 While wearing your plastic gloves, squeeze dye onto each section, using a different colour in each as desired. Make sure you open up folds in fabric and squeeze dye into them too.

STEP 4 Turn the singlet over and repeat the dye application on the reverse side. Make sure you have covered all of the singlet in dye. STEP 5 Place your finished singlet into a clean plastic bag and leave overnight. The next day, remove rubber bands with scissors, and then rinse singlet in cold water.

TG BONUS: Why not make a matching tie dyed headscarf! All you need is some white cotton fabric, and just repeat the same process you used for your singlet on the white fabric. Hey presto, you will be decked out in this season's hottest trend - TIE DYE!
